I don’t understand it when..
Chubby/overweight girls that feel comfortable enough to post a photo, of their body, get a ton of praise.
Yet if a skinny/slim girl posts a photo she gets negatives thrown at her?
The skinny girl, you can say isn’t healthy because she might be starving herself and that she just isn’t attractive because she’s trying so hard to be stick thin. Fair enough, but maybe she eats loads but doesn’t put anything on. Though people still like to say “how can anyone want to be that thin.”
Well..how does being overweight become a good thing? You do not have a healthy looking body, and you probably aren’t all that healthy altogether if you’re overweight. (unless you have an illness etc)
But no, majority of those girls get a well done and a pat on the back.
I’m neither skinny or fat. Yet I just find it stupid that there’s this whole “you’re awesome for showing your body if you are overweight.” thing…why don’t we give a skinny girl that kind of praise?
She might be less comfortable with her body.
I don’t know. Rant over…to be honest i’d like some opinions on it from people. It’s just something i see a lot and it baffles and annoys me.
